Instead he works with other producers like Ganz and Burns. He then calls upon Kimbra and George Maple for vocals, while Rome Fortune adds a verse on "Buried."

    Sam Vogel, the electronic bass music producer and DJ better known as Jauz, kicked off his Friendzy Tour this past weekend with three sold-out SoCal shows boasting historic back-to-back sets featuring more DJ talent than some festivals do. The first leg of the tour featured guest appearances from Wacka Flocka Flame, Skrillex and Diplo as Jack U, Marshmello, Ookay, Kill the Noise, Dirtyphonics and What So Not among others.

    Stop the presses -- What So Not have unveiled a brand new track "Gemini" with the help of their Future Classic running mate, Australian singer, songwriter George Maple. "Gemini" is the lead single from the duo's upcoming EP, which is the final chapter in the pair's time together as Flume departs from What So Not and leaves it in the capable hands of Chris Emoh Emerson, known professionally as Emoh Instead. The track is the perfect collaboration between What So Not and rising vocal talent as her serene voice floats across a piano build with soft drums gracefully cresendoes into a myriad of synths, snare rolls and fxs. No telling what will happen at the party, but you can expect to see some pretty crazy things with Skrillex, Valentino Khan's mustache and Vindata. There will surely be plenty of special guests coming to party with OWSLA, possibly the "Recess" DJ's partner in crime Diplo for their duo Jack Ü and plenty of others around in the Los Angeles area where the OWSLA offices are based.

The edit is being played out by RL Grime and Baauer and got its first recognition when a YouTube video surfaced on the web of RL Grime playing the edit during his expansive Void tour.

    Last night, Australian radio might have gotten its biggest collection of mixes ever on air. With the Stereosonic tour in its final weekend, Aussie radio station Triple J was able to tab four of the biggest touring artists — Skrillex, Diplo, RL Grime and What So Not — along with local up-and-coming act Carmada to join the program to spin a back-to-back-to-back-to-back, three-hour mix. The first 80 minutes saw Skrillex and Diplo take over the decks live as Jack Ü before turning over to a short session from Carmada. RL Grime took over the airwaves next with the aid of Skrillex and their airtime spilled over into What So Not's mix in the last hour of the show. Diplo and Skrillex were just on Triple J the day before to discuss their Jack Ü project and what they had coming up when they mentioned this mix. They said they had no idea what they were going to play, yet they still deliver another outstanding frenetic mix filled with tunes from each artist, their labels and some exclusives as well, via "Dancing Astronaut."

    The Skrillex media takeover is going global. Earlier today, before a set at New Zealand music festival "What's On" that featured performances from Steve Aoki, MK, What So Not and others, Skrillex stopped in with radio and live DJ Dan Aux on The George FM Selectah show to talk about music and play a surprise set on air. During that set, he felt it was no better time, since he was down under, to premiere his long-awaited collaboration with What So Not (Flume & Emoh Instead), featuring the vocals of Kristy Lee Peters, known professionally as KLP, titled "Goh." KLP was the vocalist on What So Not's track "Jaguar" that was released via Skrillex's OWSLA Records
