• Techno Marching Band MEUTE Cover Ame's ‘Rej' [WATCH]

    MEUTE, the self-described "techno marching band," has demonstrated the depths of Germany's love of house and techno by taking their brass and drums renditions of classic dance tracks to the streets of Hamburg. Now a video of the group performing a cover of Ame's 2005 deep house track, "Rej," has been making the rounds of the internet.

    BPM Festival's huge lineup just got even bigger. The Mexican 10-day festival getaway for underground dance music fans, has announced the second phase of the lineup that will be flying in this upcoming January, as well as the venues and showcases that will be hosting the parties from sun up to sun up each day. Situated on the blinding white beaches of Playa Del Carmen in Mexico, BPM Festival will occur over ten days from Jan. 9 to 18 next year. It has added well over a hundred names to the already stacked lineup, including Doorly, Amtrac, Âme, Danny Tenaglia, Harry Romero, Josh Wink, Marco Bailey, Mark Farina, Martin Buttrich, Oliver $, Noir, Nicolar Matar, Route 94, Steve Bug and so many more.

The most controversial one, the DJ Mag Top 100, relies on fan voting to rank the top DJs in the world, which predictably has main stage heavyweights like Hardwell, Tiesto, Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix and others top the list. In a very different twist of events, Resident Advisor, a standard for underground dance music, has its own opinion on which the top DJs in the world are. German Steffan Berkhahn, label owner of Berlin based Innervisions Recordings and professionally known as Dixon, topped the poll for a second straight year, while others like Seth Troxler, Richie Hawtin, Tale Of Us and others trailed not far behind.
