When you think of the most epic couples music videos or the most bizarre clips from the past year or so, Kanye West's "Bound 2" instantly comes to mind. Featuring the Yeezus rapper and his now-wife Kim Kardashian bouncing surreally on a motorcycle for four minutes, the music video was just asking for parody. In come James Franco and Seth Rogen, who released a shot-for-shot parody of "Bound 2" while on the set of their new movie The Interview. Now, the comedians are opening up about West's reaction to their parody/tribute in a new interview.

While on the set of The Tonight Show, Franco and Rogen recounted the making-of and subsequent fallout from their "Bound 2."

According to Franco and Rogen, the roles (which eventually went to Franco playing West and Rogen as Kardashian) were reversed, until they realized Rogen's hairy back and slightly more doughy physique made for a funnier female parody.

Though initial reaction from the public was positive for "Bound 2," it took a long time for West himself to comment on the video.

"We didn't hear anything from Kanye the whole time," Franco said.

"And he'd been doing a lot of press but never talking about it," Rogen added.

However, it turned out West was a fan, eventually asking the duo to recreate the music video for his lavish European wedding last year. Though in the middle of the phone call, he later realized it was a bad idea.
