It's been nearly two weeks since Ariana Grande released her much-anticipated album Eternal Sunshine, and she recently took to social media to share that she feels emotional after dropping her record.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the musician shared clips from the music video of her song "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)," and she celebrated the track's success, as it debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

"i know i have been posting so much (i feel self conscious about that / also would like to keep going / thanking / celebrating !) but i just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart," she wrote.

The musician further noted that words can't describe what she felt throughout the week, and her newly-released album is the most special for her for many reasons.

Grande noted that sharing her record with her fans re-opened many "little and big feelings," and she admitted to having an "emotional week" in many ways.

Thanks to her fans' support, the musician noted that the overwhelming response has made her feel "such joyful, human connection and comfort."

"just wanted to say i love and appreciate you all more than one can say and thank you again. it is, as it always has been, my greatest honor to grow with you..." she added.

Days before the release of her album, the singer sat down with Zach Sang for an interview to share more details about her record.

According to Elle, the singer's new album is her first project since her divorce from her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, and her new relationship with Ethan Slater.

The album revolves around her feelings during her split, as she explained: "The loss and grief that you hear some of the album, some of the heartbreak stuff, there was so much love and transparency."

She added that it was something that she wanted to make sure she captured.

Grande also opened up about the tabloid coverage of her personal life, saying that strangers thought they knew her individually after hearing those stories despite some being false.

Eternal Sunshine is now available to stream on major music platforms.
