Ariana Grande's "Eternal Sunshine" has been nothing but successful. After notched her sixth No. 1 album of her career, she achieved a Billboard Hot 100 milestone after her latest single topped the genre-blending songs chart.

Grande released "We Can't Be Friends," her second single from the album, "Eternal Sunshine," along with the album's release date last Mar. 8, 2024.

Luminate reports that Ariana Grande's latest single, "We Can't Be Friends," has raked in 32.6 million streams and 4.6 million radio airplay impressions since it was released on Mar. 8, 2024. The song also sold 9,000 after a whole cycle week. As of this writing, the music video uploaded on YouTube has already drawn more than 29 million views.

The song also topped the Streaming Songs chart, increasing her number of chart leaders to six. On the other hand, it ranked No. 4 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

"We Can't Be Friends" is Grande's ninth Hot 100 chart-topper. It follows "Yes, And?," her lead single from "Eternal Sunshine," which topped the charts on Jan. 27, 2024. She has become the first female artist to have two albums with multiple #1-debuting singles on the Hot 100.

Additionally, Grande breaks the record for the most #1 debuts on the Hot 100 among women with seven singles - "Thank U Next," "7 Rings," "Stuck With U," "Rain on Me," "Positions," "Yes, And?," and "We Can't Be Friends."

Meanwhile, she ties with Katy Perry and Beyonce as the artists with the seventh-most No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Ariana Grande Celebrates 'We Can't Be Friends' Milestone

Ariana Grande celebrated the incredible feat on Instagram with a reflective post.

"i know i have been posting so much (i feel self conscious about that / also would like to keep going / thanking / celebrating !) but i just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart," she wrote. "t's impossible to put into words what i've been feeling this week. this album is most special to me for many reasons and just holds so much. sharing it has re-opened a lot of little and big feelings alike and it has been an emotional week in many ways!"

Grande pointed out that her new album's "overwhelmingly loving response" made her feel "joyful, human connection and comfort."
