The details keep coming out in connection to Joan Rivers' untimely death and the latest report could be absolutely damning in court. We already know that Rivers checked into The Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic on Aug. 28 for a routine procedure and while under sedation something obviously went very wrong.

According to a new report out, not only did Joan's personal ear, nose and throat specialist decided to attempt to perform an unauthorized biopsy that lead to her cardiac arrest, but after going through her file investigator's realized that she never signed off on any paperwork allowing a biopsy to be completed in the event that something was found during the endoscopic procedure.

In fact, her personal ENT does not even have operating privileges at the Yorkville Clinic making this situation completely unlawful.

The CNN report also alleges that shortly before beginning the biopsy the ENT in question actually took a selfie with Joan Rivers under sedation in the background! The clinic has maintained that a biopsy has never been done on site and that statement may technically be true because it is alleged that Joan's vocal cords swelled and cut off her oxygen supply almost immediately. That means that technically, the biopsy was not completed and as for now sources believe that the clinic's spokesperson is simply choosing their words very carefully.

The doctor who was actually in charge of the endoscopic procedure, Dr. Lawrence Cohen, is no longer practicing at the Yorkville Clinic so obviously something went quite wrong under his watch, don't you think?

We are still hearing that Melissa Rivers has every intention of filing a malpractice suit against everyone involved in the procedure that her mother never recovered from. Can you imagine if this latest report is proven to be true and Rivers' personal ENT actually took a selfie in the operating room? Do you think that Joan's death was ultimately the result of negligence?
