Eminem is just one influential Detroiter to be honored in the Detroit Historical Museum's 11-week exhibition featuring photos and transcripted interviews from the recently published book "Heart Soul Detroit: Conversations on the Motor City." What perfect timing - Slim Shady's set to release his highly-anticipated 2013 album sometime soon (most likely this fall). It looks like the infamous Slim Shady has a lot of exciting things going for him right about now... so where' the fresh rap beats?!

According to the AP and several other news outlets, the 11-week exhibition hosted by the Detroit Historical Museum kicks-off next week and will feature incredible photos/transcripted interviews with 50 prominent and influential Detroiters. The full display is based off of photographer Jenny Risher's new book entitled "Heart Soul Detroit: Conversations on the Motor City" (edited by Matt Lee) and will run from July 12 - September 29.

Along with "8 Mile" rapper Eminem, other stars featured in the show include Lilly Tomlin, Nicklas Lidstrom, Barry Sanders, Al Kaline, Elmore Leonard, Mitch Albom, John Sinclair, Smokey Robinson, Jack White, Eminem, Martha Reeves, Berry Gordy, Lee Iacocca, and Bill Ford Jr. among several others.

Tickets are $35 for general admission ($40 day of the event) - if fans would also like a copy of "Heart Soul Detroit," tickets go for $75. They can be purchased on the museum's website. For more information on the book, go here.

Details surrounding Shady's new album still remain unknown, but the "Without Me" rapper will kick-off a mini-European tour this August:
