Scottish synthpop trio Chvrches have shared the music video for their latest single “Under The Tide,” which you can check out below. The Sing J. Lee-directed video uses animation and psychedelic visuals to tell some sort of sci-fi story while synth-player Martin Doherty sings along the track. The band’s other two members, Lauren Mayberry and Iain Cook, show up as well towards the video’s end.

“Under The Tide” is the sixth single and fifth music video to be shared from Chvrches’ debut album The Bones of What You Believe, which was released back in Sept. 2013. The album’s previous singles include “We Sink,” “Lies,” “Gun,” “Recover,” and “The Mother We Share.”

“Because it’s quite dance-y it has a really nice dynamic,” Iain Cook told Fuse about “Under The Tide.” “The verses are quite laid back and the choruses are punchy, it gets people jumping up and down. It’s great to play live.”

Chvrches are set to appear on the upcoming soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which was curated by Lorde. Other artists who are set to appear on the soundtrack include Charli XCX, The Chemical Brothers, Miguel, and Kanye West.
