We're not quite sure what the regulations of stamp collecting is, whether you're supposed to focus on stamps from your homeland or what, but music fans who also enjoy harboring postage can take pleasure in knowing that a new set from Sweden highlights five of the nation's biggest names in music at the moment (via Pitchfork). The stamps feature sketches by artist Jenny Mörtsell, who apparently specializes in realistic black-and-whites, based on her website.

Mörtsell's appreciation for each performer might be evident in the amount of creativity that went into the background of the sketch. Robyn, for example, appears with planets and stars in the background. Avicii is set in more realistic settings, with mobs of dancing fans in the background. First Aid Kit gets a few flowers, producer Max Martin is seen seated at a soundboard and Seinabo Sey—probably the least familiar performer to American audiences...an up-and-coming electropop vocalist best known for her single "Younger"—gets some clouds in the background.

The stamps will be available for purchase come January 15.

If you want to get your Swedish stamp collection rolling before then, there are a few interesting booklets available for purchase at Posten.Se right now. "Sit Comfortably!" features five chairs created by "prominent Swedish designers" (we know you love Swedish furniture...or at least we do), "1,000 Years of Church Art" and most interesting, "Zlatan Ibrahimovic," which pays tribute to the Paris Saint-Germain striker with a portrait and four different "game situation" shots. All sets mentioned cost 70.00 krona.
