The Latin Recording Academy announced the award nominees for this year's Latin Grammys earlier today at a press conference in Hollywood. The broadcast was streamed live on LatinGrammy.com. Natalie Cole, Aida Cuevas, Leslie Grace, Gaby Moreno Draco Rosa, Syntek and Julieta Venegas hosted the event.

"Once again, it's gratifying to see the Latin Grammy Awards process produce a broad cross section of diverse and impressive nominees across multiple genres," said Gabriel Abaroa Jr., the President/CEO if the Latin Recording Academy, in a press release. "This year's nominations truly reflect an exceptional and talented creative community that embodies some of the highest levels of excellence and artistry in their respective fields. With such a group of talented musicians, this year's Latin Grammy telecast will undoubtedly be memorable."

This year features the addition of Best Urban Performance to the "Urban Music" field, making the total categories to 48 (in 18 fields).

Many artists this year are nominated in multiple categories. Javier Garza, Illya Kuryaki & The Valderrramas and Carlos Vives lead the Latin Grammy nominations with five each. While Edgar Barrera, Andres Castro, Julio Reyes Copello, Alejandro Sanz, and Caetano Veloso each received four nominations.

Below is a sampling of notable nominees, according to the press release. To view the full list, go to LatinGrammy.com. The 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will air live from Las Vegas Nov. 21 on Univision Network at 8 p.m. ET.
