The romance between rappers and sneakers is a prized and precious relationship that dates back decades. The ultimate relationship goal many-a-rappers have daydreamed about would be a collaboration between the artist and the beloved sneaker company. Riff Raff is not excluded in that daydream, releasing on Instagram and Twitter what would appear to be a promotional photo of a collaboration between himself and Jordan Brand.
Last year, the shoe company teamed up with artists Drake and Macklemore, so another artist collaboration does not seem that far off as a possibility in 2015.
Jordan Brand has since denied Riff Raff's claims, stating, "At this time there are currently no plans for this shoe or a collaboration with this individual."
While since proven a falsity, it is still a fun announcement from Riff Raff, reading:

While VIP access to all of Riff Raff’s shows, as well as an autographed copy of his upcoming albums, does sound nice, $750 is still an insanely high price point for the limited release sneakers. Maybe next time, Riff Raff.
At the very least, tour dates for Riff Raff has been confirmed for this month and next, as well as a June 1 promise for a simultaneous release of his next two albums, The Peach Panther and The Purple Panther.
Regardless of if this collaboration comes to fruitation or not in the future, fans of both can still get their fill with Riff Raff’s tribute to the sneaker, “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwinz.”
