Bill Cosby issued a brief statement to his fans a few weeks ago thanking them for the continued support. In it, he also insisted that his career is far from over. Perhaps the fallen comedian should reevaluate his thinking because one way or another, the majority of the shows that he still has booked are ending up being canceled one way or another. Cosby was scheduled to perform in Charlotte next month but as of yesterday, it has officially been postponed.

Page Six was the first to confirm that, "National Artists Corp. announced Friday that Cosby is postponing the performance scheduled for Feb. 22 in the Belk Theater. A statement from National Artists said scheduling conflicts led to the postponement, but also said Cosby "will be back soon to raise the roof with laughter." A new date for this show has not been announced, not that anyone would really be surprised to hear that at this point. Don't you wonder what kind of "scheduling conflicts" could have possibly occurred, especially since Cosby's days of being over-booked are long gone!

Ironically enough, this date was shelved on the heels of Jay Leno's critical statement the other day. The former late night fixture simply doesn't understand why these women aren't being believed. When 15+ names and faces go public to make allegations of being drugged and sexually assaulted by the same man, it hardly seems like a coincidence.

Is Cosby's career over? NBC and Netflix have both taken giant steps away from him and so it would seem that at least for now, he needs to book more gigs. But how many new venues are going to really trip over their own feet to have his now-controversial show come to town? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
