According to Rolling Stone, Beyoncé's new album might finally drop next year if Columbia Records chairman Rob Stringer's recent comments are true. "At some point, Beyoné will put a record out, and when she does, it will be monumental," he told Hits Daily Double.

He did not, however, divulge specifics on a release date for the follow up to 2011's, 4. Although the singer has not released any true "singles," she has released about four teasers throughout 2013. Back in March, she released "Bow Down/I Been On," followed by "Standing on the Sun," which appeared in her H&M ad campaign. The song "Grown Women" was featured in a Pepsi commercial, and a few weeks ago, she dropped "God Made You Beautiful" for her daughter Blu Ivy (it first appeared in her HBO documentary, Life Is But a Dream). But for most of 2013, she has been on a massive world tour.

What we know so far of the upcoming album is that she has been working with Justin Timerlake, Pharrell, Timbaland, Ne-Yo and The-Dream to create songs that have a 90s R&B feel. She named Prince, D-Angelo, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross among her influences for the effort. Over the summer Ne-Yo spoke about the album saying, "They're still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I'm not mad at. Beyoncé's the kind of artist where you'renot gonna see it till it's right. And her fans - they love her so they'll be patient."
