The star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, claimed that his teammate Travis Kelce's image as a hard-partying guy is not entirely true.

For a while, some were using this image as a sign that Taylor Swift should not be completely enamored with him, but Mahomes is setting the record straight, revealing Kelce's true colors.

Contrary to popular belief, Kelce's penchant for a good time doesn't define him entirely. Mahomes, however, concedes that Kelce can hold his own regarding drinking. But that's only because he's not a family man like Mahomes or his brother, Jason.

Travis Kelce Not a Party Animal

"He puts on this persona like, 'I'm partying, I'm drinking [or] whatever' but he's really super intelligent," Patrick, 28, explained on the Thursday, May 2, episode of Logan Paul's "Impaulsive" podcast.

Patrick said that when Travis, 34, decides to get wild with his parties, he cannot keep up with him.

"No, I cannot [keep up with him]," the quarterback admitted, adding, "I think I used to and then I had kids."

He said it's the same for Travis' brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce.  "Jason has kids too, so he has to pick and choose, but when he chooses, he can go," Mahomes shared.

Taylor Swift Not Bothered by Travis Kelce's Drinking?

Concerns arose among fans and Swifties when Travis got excessively drunk at the Chiefs' Super Bowl 2024 victory parade. This rendered him unable to perform Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" on stage. He slurred, prompting Mahomes to step in and lead the crowd in the chorus.

However, this incident didn't bother Swift, as their relationship continued. Furthermore, there haven't been any repeat occurrences since.

One report, however, may have hinted that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce allow each other to have fun but keep within certain limits when it was revealed that Swift apologized to Kelce when she got drunk one time.

On April 13, at the 2023 Coachella Music Festival, Travis and Taylor were spotted enjoying themselves. The "Cruel Summer" singer danced freely and shared kisses with Travis while watching her friend Ice Spice perform.

Later, they ventured to the Neon Carnival dance tent. Squid Game alum Jackie Gonzalez, who is deaf and proficient in lip-reading, revealed that at one point, Taylor confessed to Travis, "That was the best thing that's happened tonight. Sorry, I'm drunk.'"
