Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis has confirmed that Fleetwood Mac will not be playing the festival in 2014, according to NME. Though the legendary band will not be playing at Worthy Farm next year, Eavis is hopeful that they will in the future. He told The Guardian, "We're hoping to get them for 2015, but not next year."

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2014 went on sale Oct. 6, and the 120,000 available sold out in 1 hour and 27 minutes.  They went almost as quick last year in 1 hour and 40 minutes. The fest takes place between Wednesday, June 25 and Sunday, June 29.

Though the full lineup has not yet been released, Dolly Parton is rumored to play, which will fit into her schedule with her 2014 UK tour. Parton will be playing London's O2 Arena on June 27. Arcade Fire and Lily Allen have already confirmed themselves for the festival, with Arcade Fire headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night the 27th.

Last year some of the headliners included The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Mumford and Sons, Portishead, The xx, Phoenix, and Crystal Castles. This year will likely give 2013 a run for its money.

Glastonbury founder Eavis is now 78 years old and still manages to put together the huge event each year. He explains how he does it. "Well every morning I have a swim in cold water, then a hot shower and I'm teed up for the day," he told The Guardian. "Besides, it's such good fun for someone my age to be doing. Can you imagine the joy I get out of it?"
