Many were shocked earlier this week when a second penalty phase jury ended up deadlocked over the fate of Jodi Arias. Since they couldn't agree, the presiding judge had no choice but to declare another mistrial and in April she will sentence Arias either to life in prison or life in prison with the possibility of parole in 25 years. Either way, the woman who admits to killing Travis Alexander back in 2008 has had her life spared because of just one juror. Now we're hearing that the one person that didn't vote for the death penalty in this case is under police watch.

Not long after the mistrial was announced a poster on Twitter revealed the names of the 11 jurors that voted to put Arias to death. Supposedly the name of the other also leaked out as well. According to a report by MSN, "Authorities were providing security Friday for the sole juror who voted to spare the life of convicted murderer Jodi Arias. No threats had been reported against any of the 12 jurors, authorities said. However, the lone holdout on the death penalty had requested the security after her name was posted on social media. Prosecutors also said they're examining whether the holdout disclosed that her husband had been prosecuted by the same county attorney who headed the case against Arias." explained a source.

It's kind of ironic isn't it? Arias killed Alexander by stabbing him, shooting him and slitting his throat so deeply that she nearly decapitated him and the one person insisting on saving her life is now possibly in harm's way. Supposedly this juror admitted before the trial that they had watched the Lifetime movie based on Arias' life and they also said that they don't believe in the death penalty. Still, they were placed on this jury! Do you think that it was done so that her life would be spared? Should Arias have been sentenced to death? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
