Apollo Nida may be locked away for the next eight years in prison, but his presence is still being felt at Bravo. Before he turned himself in to authorities back in September, Nida was a cast member of RHOA and was unhappily married to Phaedra Parks. While he was technically fired from the show, the government still wants Bravo to pay up on his behalf.

Because Nida was convicted of various financial crimes, he was also ordered to pay $2 million in restitution. He currently owes $1.9 million and, according to a report by Radar Online, Bravo was served with a court order March 4 to garnish Nida's earnings.

While he is no longer bringing in a regular check, it is believed that he still has money somehow invested through the network in either stocks, bonds or other funds. If they exist, then the government is demanding them to help pay back the huge amount that is still owed.

It is amazing how, months after being removed from normal, day-to-day life, people are still actively affected by Nida. In recent weeks scenes on The Real Housewives of Atlanta have played out that showed the entire cast seeming to believe Nida when he claimed that Parks was cheating on him. She had to address the accusations in the media and has mentioned feeling betrayed by nearly everyone. Plus, she is dealing with being a single mother to their two sons.

Now even the network is left to at least contemplate cleaning up his mess. Bravo has 10 days to respond one way or another to the garnishment court order. If it does not, then it will likely be hauled into court. Are you surprised to learn just how messy Nida really has been? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
