Hollywood custody battles seem to end up getting ugly more often than not and if what we're hearing is true, then Rosie O'Donnell may have just blown her fight for her 2-year-old adopted daughter. Earlier this year she announced her split from Michelle Rounds after nearly three years of marriage and the women were then left fighting over their daughter, Dakota. Rounds had alleged that O'Donnell did drugs and drank nightly in her bid for full custody and apparently she was on to something because it seems that O'Donnell did indeed recently fail a drug test!
Various media outlets are reporting that O'Donnell agreed to the testing as a way of proving that Rounds' allegations against her were completely false and unwarranted. Instead of doing that, she has supposedly tested positive for marijuana which could be a real problem when it comes to custody.
According to a report by The Daily Mail, "'It came back positive for drugs. She's been trying to hide her drug use for a long time, and she didn't realize that marijuana stays in your system for a number of months." claimed an insider.
If this is true, then it appears in court that Rounds was actually telling the truth and has good reason to be concerned for their daughter's well being. O'Donnell and Rounds had a court date earlier today and so far there is no word on what transpired during this round of proceedings. Since Rounds decided to talk to the press about O'Donnell's vices a few months ago, it seems fairly likely that she will make sure everyone knows if she manages to win full custody over his ex, doesn't it?
