Earlier this month Rosie O'Donnell herself confirmed that she was in the process of making some major life changes. First she announced that she would be leaving her job at ABC's The View and in the same statement she also confirmed that her two-year marriage to Michelle Rounds was also over. Now, just two weeks after officially leaving the roundtable dysfunction we can also tell you that O'Donnell has officially filed for divorce.

According to a report by Page Six, O'Donnell "filed for divorce against her second wife Michelle Rounds in Manhattan Supreme Court Friday. O'Donnell initiated the uncontested proceeding against spouse Rounds, meaning she's not expecting a knock-down, drag-out split, according to The Post's Julia Marsh. Sources tell us O'Donnell and Rounds signed a prenup before their 2012 wedding, and the divorce negotiations have been straightforward under that agreement," explained the insider.

It had been previously reported that O'Donnell and Rounds officially split last fall and it seems that the comedienne has custody of the young child that they adopted together. She has said that after suffering a heart attack a few years ago, O'Donnell now understands that it's not good for her health to stay in extremely stressful situations. Her life must have felt like a pretty big disaster for O'Donnell to decide to change everything at once, don't you think?

While she may not have wanted to deal with the constant stress that butting heads with Whoopi Goldberg brought to her daily work life, O'Donnell isn't one to sit at home. What do you think that her next work venture will be? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
