Animal Collective's new album is finally finished. Details confirming the full length follow-up to 2012's Centipede Hz were posted to LA-based recording studio EastWest's Instagram account earlier this week.

"We are so proud of them and this album," commented EastWest. In addition to EastWest's congratulatory remarks, recent Instagram updates confirmed that they have has also been writing and rehearsing at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, North Carolina.

So far, additional information in regards to the album have yet to be revealed, leaving the release date, the album title, and tracklisting currently unknown. Even still, despite being wrapped in mystery, the recent news of Animal Collective's latest accomplishment and in-studio efforts have incited an onslaught of excited response from fans.

Famed for their widely acclaimed LP Merriweather Post Pavilion and catchy tracks like "My Girls" and "Summertime Clothes," Animal Collective's psych-pop genius rarely seems to falter. Undoubtedly fueled by the creative energy of multiple collaborations and ongoing side projects like Panda Bear, Geologist and Avey Tare, this Baltimore based four-piece have consistently avoided predictability with each release while keeping their sound (much like their aesthetic) refreshingly avant-garde.

Whenever it drops, the band's recently completed album will be their tenth, marking a pivotal milestone for the experimental indie outfit. With so many of the details related to their upcoming release still left unknown, now would be the perfect time for fans to revisit Animal Collective's already lengthy discography.

One can only wonder how many times adoring fans will listen to tracks like "Daily Routine" before more specifics about the band's tenth LP are unveiled.
