The successful Think Like A Man franchise is expanding and taking the movie from the big screen to our living rooms each week. The film based on the Steve Harvey book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man is being made into a TV sitcom adaptation, with the author set to produce.

According to Deadline, the film that starred actors Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, Megan Fox and Michael Ealy will now be made into a TV adaptation, executive produced by the man who started it all, Harvey, along with some of the franchise's film team. According to the site, the one of the original film and the sequel's film producer, Will Packer, along with Keith Merryman and David A. Newman will write the script transferring the movie format to tv sitcom standard form

Sony Pictures Television along with Harvey's East 112th Street Productions will produce with Gerald Washington, president of Harvey's producition company set to compose the pilot episode.

The show is in the development stages all while Harvey is working on yet another show with Ellen DeGeneres. According to EUR, both comedians are working on producing and NBC upcoming comedy/variety show titled, Little Big Shots.

Think Like A Man's gross climbed well above its $12.5 million budget and pulled in $91.5 million in North America, according to Deadline. The film's sequel, released in 2014, grossed over $65 million, according to Box Office Mojo.

The TV adaptation will focus on the battle of the sexes told from four different couples' perspectives. These couples "and their friends will realize that it's easy to fall in love and 'be' in love but not necessarily stay in love," as reported by Deadline. Each relationship will represent that of the the newly married, the couple moving in together, the couple breaking up and the couple just hooking up.

No word on who will will star in the upcoming project.
