Master P has been experiencing a long and messy divorce with his soon-to-be ex-wife Sonya Miller. The legendary record producer appeared on The Real with his children, including Lil Romeo, to clear up some rumors about the divorce proceedings and try to explain the truth. Master P does not seem to hold any serious acrimony against Miller, who allegedly abuses drugs and has caused quite a bit of difficulty in the divorce. The family discussed what they felt would be the best outcome given the sordid circumstances.
According to HopHopDX when asked what he believed the best outcome could be, Lil Romeo said, "I just want my Mom to find happiness."
When asked the same question, Master P spoke of his desire to make sure his children remained happy and successful. "I want my kids to be able to do what they love to do," Master P said, "What I told the judge when I was there I was like, 'Sometimes you gotta look at right and wrong and that's it.' I feel like as a person on the outside looking in - I asked the judge I said, 'Drug test both of us, and then you'll find all the answers.' Which their attorney didn't agree with. So I'ma put it in God's hands."
The legendary music executive and artist told The Real that drugs had taken a large toll on his family. However, he is still hoping that Miller will be able to lead a healthier, more productive life in the future. He said, "Drugs is killing a lot of families. We're gonna get help for her. We still love her as a family - that's my kid's Mom, we wish the best for her... I think this is going to change her too. We rooting for her. It's not like we're looking down on her. We love her as a family. She's gonna be in our lives forever."
