Italian up-and-comer Klaudio Lagji, AKA Greeko, has dropped a new deep house-inspired techno track called "Black Panther." The single marks the artist's debut on the trendsetting Alfa Romero Recordings label, Ibiza Voice reports. Listen to the dark and fuzzy yet melodic cut via the label's Soundcloud, below.

"Black Panther" pairs club-ready production with deep warehouse vibes. It's ominous and atmospheric on one level, but the drum rhythms bring an uplifting energy to the track. The cut also has a timeless quality thanks to the old-school synths flashing and futuristic warm pads floating throughout.

The new single at once demonstrates Greeko's studio savvy as well as everything he learned about keeping the party going during his Sankey's Ibiza residency this past year. In other words, techno fans will enjoy listening to the track anytime, but it's likely to sound best mixed into a sunrise set at a warehouse rave.

As Stoney Roads reports, the track comes with a B-side: a solid remix by Berlin's Philip Bader. The Moon Harbour artist's techy take on the original makes "Black Panther" all the more ready for the dancefloor.

Following the single's release, Greeko also dropped a powerful Luca Gasperoni-directed video for the track. The video's description explains that Tommie Smith's story from the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City is at the video's core.

Featuring Bass Mbaye, some graffiti art and other urban cityscapes, the video illuminates the socio-political message apparently intended by the track's potentially controversial title. Paired with the video, the track's gritty underbelly is all the more illuminated. Watch the video below.

Although much younger than most on the techno scene, Greeko's latest follows a slew of EPs and singles released on various different labels over the past few years. The Italian tends to fuse a distinctly Detroit techno sound with elements of jazz. Most of his previous tracks are available to stream on his Soundcloud.
