I had the pleasure of seeing Queen of Jeans a month ago in NYC, and I can honestly say that they are a band that sound as good as, if not better live than their recordings. While their self-titled debut EP is a collection of infectious originals that is clearly worth the money, the band's cover of The Bangles' "Walk Like an Egyptian" is a standout performance in their live show and a notable track on the blogs covering them. For the song's music video, Queen of Jeans cast their moms as the band, resulting in major cuteness, you guys.

In a statement about the making of the music video and the idea behind it, the band told The Grey Estates that, since their mothers are their biggest fans, why not get them involved in this cute music video?

"It was the best day I think we've all had in a long time, and it felt like this massive convergence of all of our families into one big group," Queen of Jeans explained. "There was a ton of nervous energy at first, but as soon as the camera was on, it was incredible how amazing they all were! I think we all saw a side of our moms we probably hadn't acknowledged since we were little. And now we're super fans, too."

The girls in the band share the vocals on this cover, taking turns on each verse, which is great for showing off the moms in the music video.
