To be able to debut as a group in the K-Pop scene is an achievement, but to be able to stay together for 10 years or more is a serious milestone. A group that did just that would be Big Bang. Next to K-Pop legends Shinhwa, Big Bang is another group that has managed to stay together for a decade. And in light of this milestone in the lives of the members; G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri, they have decided to celebrate this in many ways.

YG Entertainment's biggest artist to date, Big Bang has set records not only in Korea, but all over the world. Their songs have topped the charts over the years since their debut in 2006, beginning with the hit that started it all, "Lies," and continuing all the way up to their latest releases last year, a 4-album project titled the MADE series with singles "Loser," "If You," "Bae Bae," "Bang Bang Bang," "Let's Not Fall in Love," "We Like 2 Party," "Sober" and "Zutter," which they promoted for months after a lengthy period away from the spotlight to focus on the members' individual activities, and for 3 members, it was to focus on their solo music careers. It was named as such, because of the group's career and the point of their career where they felt that they had really made it.

This year in June, they released MADE the movie, a documentary about the group from their debut days until now. MADE was also the name of the latest concert tour and for the past few days, they have also held a personally curated exhibit titled BIGBANG10: The Exhibition, in Seoul, South Korea.

According to the group's leader, G-Dragon, "Our tenth anniversary is an important day for us, but since I think that there will be even more days where we can meet in the future, I hope that we'll be able to laugh and sing as we grow old together."

On the day of the anniversary itself, members Taeyang, G-Dragon, and Seungri posted various messages and group photos on their social media accounts, and the official fanclub also tweeted their congratulations to the group and to the fans.

On the 20th of August, the group will hold a live concert as another way to celebrate with their fans, who have shown them immense support over the years. The concert is titled, BIGBANG10: The Concert From 0 to 10, and it will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
