Last week, Taylor Swift showed her support to her friend Gigi Hadid by attending the fashion show for her joint project with Tommy Hilfiger called TOMMYXGIGI. During the event, Hadid confirmed that Swift has returned to the studio to possibly work on a new album.

As reported by Entertainment Tonight, the event was held on Sept. 9 as part of the New York Fashion Week. A video taken from the event, which was shared by Swift on her Instagram account, showed the models walking down the runway. At the end of the clip, Swift and Hadid can be seen singing along to Calvin Harris' "This is What You Came For," a song she co-wrote for her ex-boyfriend.

After the show, Hadid expressed her gratitude to Swift for attending the event even though she's currently busy working on her own project.

"She's obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that," the model told Entertainment Tonight.

The idea of Swift working in a studio again strongly suggests that the pop star could be preparing to record an album. The last studio album she released was 1989 back in October 2014, which contains the singles "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Bad Blood," "Wildest Dreams" and "New Romantics."

It is not yet clear what the themes of the upcoming songs in Swift's new album will be about but after her alleged breakup with Tom Hiddleston, many of her fans are expecting to hear a track about the Avengers actor or Calvin Harris.
