Rapper Anderson .Paak and Justin Timberlake badger Anna Kendrick around the house in the newly-released music video for "Don't Slack," released yesterday, April 6.

The jazzy "Come Home" rapper and the "Sexy Back" singer kept popping up everywhere in the house for the duration of the upbeat track. Paak appears from behind the shower curtain and in the freezer while Timberlake shuffles all cartoon-like, digs into the ground, and messes with Kendrick's newspaper.

By the end of the music video, Anna Kendrick, unable to escape her two "trolls," decides to let loose and dance to the groove.

"Don't Slack" is one of the songs in the official soundtrack for the upcoming Dreamworks animated movie "Trolls World Tour," sequel to the 2016 critical and commercial hit "Trolls." Anna Kendrick voiced "Poppy," the Trolls' princess while Justin Timberlake voiced "Branch," the pessimist who secretly likes the princess.

Anderson .Paak will be joining the sequel cast as "Prince D," a "funk Troll" and son of the Funk King and Queen, voiced by George Clinton and Mary J. Blige, respectively.

The music video follows the lyric video uploaded on Anderson Paak's YouTube channel a couple of weeks ago, and has garnered close to 2 million views as of this writing. You can watch the music video below:

"Trolls World Tour" will follow the adventures of the small colorful Trolls who must unite other kinds of Trolls, each corresponding to a specific genre of music such as pop, techno, country, classical, and funk, which they must protect against the "rock Trolls."

The 2016 "Trolls" movie managed to gross a total of $346.8 million against a budget of $125 million, considering it was released alongside Marvel Cinematic Universe's "Doctor Strange" and the critically-acclaimed "Hacksaw Ridge."

Confirmed cast for the "Trolls World Tour" includes James Corden, Rachel Bloom, Kelly Clarkson, J Balvin, Icona Pop, and Ozzy Osbourne.

While the movie was originally set for a theatrical release in the U.S. on April 10, 2020, it will be instead released direct to digital rental services on the same day. The move was caused by the global coronavirus pandemic.

Prior to joining the star-studded lineup of the Trolls franchise, born Brandon Paak Anderson and stylized as Andersoon .Paak, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, and multi-instrumentalist who debuted in 2012 with his album "O.B.E," before releasing "Venice" (2014) and "Malibu" (2016). His 2016 studio album would earn Paak a nomination for the Best Urban Contemporary Album award at the 59th Grammy Awards.

At the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019, Anderson .Paak won his first Grammy for the Best Rap Performance with his single "Bubblin." He would win two more the following year: one for Best R&B Performance for "Come Home," featuring Outkast's André 3000, and another for Best R&B Album with "Ventura."

Aside from his solo work, Anderson .Paak comprises half of NxWorries together with hip-hop record producer and songwriter Knxwledge. Pronounced "No Worries," the music duo NxWorries released their debut album "Yes Lawd!" in 2016. The pair is generally regarded as a neo-soul act, though they incorporate elements of funk, R&B, and hip-hop into their works.
