Tay-tay will also be releasing "a special RSD 2022" vinyl to commemorate the 15th year anniversary.

Record Store Day was founded in 2008 and appointed its first official ambassador (Joshua Homme) in 2010.

In 2022, the event's 15th year, the event will reach another milestone by selecting Taylor Swift as the first Global Record Store Day Ambassador.

This year's RSD will take place on April 23, with the official list of this year's RSD releases coming soon, including an as-yet-unannounced title from Swift.

Previously appointed ambassadors Pearl Jam, Run the Jewels, and St. Vincent (who became the event's first female ambassador in 2017) have followed in Swift's footsteps.
