After a successful TV spot at the recent Super Bowl weekend with goddaughter Miley Cyrus, it seems like Dolly Parton ticked another box in her long list of to-dos before turning 76.

Dolly Parton launches a new Spotify Audio Book Podcast "Run, Rose, Run" from her self-published book of the same title. The titular book is co-authored by "Women Murders Club" hitmaker James Patterson.

The "Run, Rose, Run" book-cast will release multiple episodes weekly and incorporates audio storytelling, original music, and more elements from the musical mystery Parton and Patterson authored.

Run, Rose, Run

Spotify Chief Content and Advertising Business Officer Dawn Ostroff reveal that "Run, Rose, Run" is the streaming giant's first venture that combines audio and spoken word.

In a statement (via Billboard), Parton is thrilled that her project "Run, Rose, Run" with James Patterson is the inaugural book-cast that Spotify will launch.

"When we wrote this book together, I felt I could contribute best by sticking to my first love, music. James and I hope that listeners will be able to feel the connection between the book and the album as we work to bring this story and these characters to life, as only two storytellers can," the Country Music Hall of Famer explained.

For Patterson, he has been equally thrilled to be working with the music icon as he was a fan of the singer's storytelling.

Thrilled to be bringing "Run, Rose, Run" characters to life, Parton shares how Dolly's music is a huge part of the project: "The music she's created around this project is incredible, and I'm grateful that Spotify has given us the opportunity to bring listeners a new experience of the book and album."

In other Dolly Parton news, the multi-platinum artist will be hosting the Association of Country Music Awards on March 7 with American Idol alum Gabby Barrett and 2021 CMA New Artist of the Year Jimmie Allen.

She also features on the upcoming tribute album "Touch Through Me: The Songs of Dottie Rambo," where she and Pam Tillis perform the late artist's song "Come Spring." The 75-year old singer also talked about the set, "Run Rose Run," and other projects at Larry Ferguson's Mr. Nashville Talks on YouTube.
