Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj are undeniably two of the most influential female rap popstars in the music industry yet. Birthing one of 2021's most successful songs, "Say So," the two's innate chemistry leads their loyal fans to think that an upcoming collaboration from the two might happen again any time soon.

Doja Cat's First GRAMMY Award

The 26-year-old rapper's last Sunday evening might be the biggest one she had yet, as she tearfully received her first GRAMMY with SZA.

The two sealed their first GRAMMY win with their iconic collaboration single "Kiss Me More" as it won the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

SZA, who accepted the award in crutches due to her foot injury, is joined by a running Doja Cat, who apparently had the "fastest piss" of her life as she rushed from the comfort room.

Doja accepted the award tearfully, saying that she likes to "downplay a lot of sh*t," but she considers her first award a "big deal."

Earlier that night, she was asked on the red carpet about her decision to "quit" music after blazing Twitter with an outburst last week, to which she did not directly answer.

Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj Friendship Might Mean New Collab?

In the same interview, Entertainment Tonight's Nischelle Turner asked Doja Cat which artist on her "bucket list" does she wanted to work with in the future.

"Everybody knows its Nicki [Minaj]! It's all the time," she explained.

The "Kiss Me More" hitmaker has been upfront on social media about how she admired the Queen of Rap and how she inspired her since she was 13 years old.

Doja Cat even namedropped and thanked Nicki Minaj on her song "Get Into It (Yuh)" on her GRAMMY-nominated album "Planet Her."

Apparently, the track was a tribute to the Trinidadian rapper for "paving the way for her polished pop-rap career."

Minaj was invited to feature on the track, but she declined, noting that "there were middle people involved," making it challenging to work on the song together.

Nicki recently greeted Doja about her GRAMMY win and posted the conversation on her Instagram story.

Fans, however, can't help but notice that Doja casually texted Nicki "wyd," which meant "what [are] you doing," putting them in a frenzy speculating that the two have been talking to each other frequently.

Some fans even speculate that Doja is the mysterious person who Nicki talks to about her recent TikTok addiction.

After Doja name drops Nicki on the GRAMMYs red carpet as someone who she wanted to make music with and their frequent messages, it can be highly likely that the two are brewing something up. But fans have yet to wait in the coming weeks for more hints.
