Wednesday on Good Morning America, Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams appeared as vivacious as ever. If no one knew she is set to play the "Queen of Punk" in the Sex Pistols miniseries, they'll probably do a double look or three to take in her new appearance. Gone are her Arya Stark looks, for sure.

The 25-year-old donned a brightly colored dress with clingy black mesh wraparound to accentuate her slim figure.

Presently, she is promoting her forthcoming FX miniseries Pistol, which chronicles the development of the Sex Pistols in the 1980s.

Maisie portrays the late Jordan Mooney, also known as Pamela Rooke, who was a pioneer of the punk aesthetic while modeling for Vivienne Westwood.

She chose her stage name from the character Jordan Baker in The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald and was credited by Adam Ant for inventing punk.

Jordan, who was lovingly regarded as the "Queen of Punk," died of bile duct cancer at the age of 66 early last month.

This week, while appearing on Good Morning America, Maisie stated that her "physical metamorphosis" helped her get into character.

She admitted that going into hair and makeup took "a lot of effort."

"'I had multiple wigs and different makeup looks, but for me, I'd never really played a character where I'd had such a physical transformation," she said.

"You know, I bleached my eyebrows, bleached my hair. So it was, yeah, it really felt like something to center myself everyday and find who Jordan was," she added.

She revealed how much she was thankful for that, because she never had to rely on "that sort of physical transformation" in the past.

After her passing, Maisie told Net-A-Porter, 'I replay our time together with profound admiration.' ordan was a consultant on the programme.

She said, "I'm grateful to have spent time with her, and the impact her image has had on the emancipation of women's bodies will be felt by all of us forever."

Maisie had previously told the newspaper that Jordan was one of the most valuable resource for many. She witnessed it all and was there from the very beginning, when the Pistols were the Pistols... It is crucial to produce something that she particularly loved.

On May 31, the show, directed by Danny Boyle and starring Toby Wallace as Steve Jones and Talulah Riley as Vivienne Westwood, will premiere on FX On Hulu.
