Chlöe has been busy with her solo career since launching her first single "Treat Me." Today, the singer teased fans about her upcoming debut record as she works tirelessly in the recording studio.

According to Pop Sugar, the 1/2 of Chloe x Halle first teased her solo album last year. She's also been perfecting her personal sound, which is completely different from her music back when she was in a duo.

Speaking to the outlet, the 23-year-old songstress revealed that her album is "wayyy too hot to handle."

Chlöe couldn't wait any longer to release the record as she's working on it since 2019. The yet-to-be-titled album is her first release since CxH's "Ungodly Hour."

She took a break from working on her solo music to promote her album with sister Halle Bailey.

"I put a pause on it so my sister and I could promote 'Ungodly Hour,' but in between, I was in my bedroom creating at night," she told Billboard last year.

At first, she would just make her own beats, songs, and ideas for a project because she knew that it would happen in the future.

The album is believed to make listeners inspired by Chlöe's individuality and give them the idea that they could be unapologetically themselves regardless of what other people say.

Elsewhere in the feature, the singer said the album is about "90% done" and she's narrowing the tracklist from over 50 songs.

Fans will hear a different sound from Chlöe as the record will heavily-feature pop songs instead of her usual R&B.

As of this writing, the singer has not revealed an official release date, collaborators, tracklist, or title.

Chloe x Halle has been put on hold as the latter is currently busy filming the highly-anticipated Disney live-action film "The Little Mermaid."

The movie, which is set to be released next year, stars Jonah Hauer-King, Javier Bardem, Melissa McCarthy, Lorena Andrea, Kajsa Mohammar, Noma Dumezweni, and many more.

Chlöe is also busy with her acting career while making music as she's set to play the role of Izzy in Sabrina Jaglom's "Jane."

The thriller movie revolves around two senior students whose lives fell apart when they had a social media rampage.

Although details about the movie have been kept secret, the singer revealed that she and another cast member, "Riverdale's" Madelaine Petsch, were filming "in a freezing pool the entire day."
