I Prevail fans received bittersweet news as the band announced that co-vocalist Brian Burkheiser will miss their upcoming tour due to health reasons.

Taking to their official Instagram account, the band issued a statement confirming that Brukheiser will miss their upcoming series of concerts due to his health struggles.

"Brian recently underwent surgery for a longstanding medical issue in February," they wrote, adding that initially, doctors were confident that the timeframe would allow him to recover before their shows, but they didn't expect the recovery process would take longer.

According to Loudwire, the band has two upcoming warm-up concerts on May 3 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee and May 4 at 93X Twin City Tower Takeover in St. Paul.

Following that, the band will kick off their European and United Kingdom shows at Velodrom in Berlin, Germany, on May 10, 2024.
