Adele is following through on her vow to return to the stage following the cancellation of her Las Vegas residency gigs.

The "Someone Like You" hitmaker notified her millions of fans in early 2022 that she would be postponing her series of gigs at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace owing to COVID delays, which meant it "wasn't ready."

However, following her tremendously successful concerts in London's Hyde Park, the 34-year-old award-winning singer appears to have caught the performing bug once more, prompting her to schedule her Las Vegas appearances.

According to a source who talked to The Sun (via The Mirror), she enjoyed performing in London so much that she was inspired to pursue her residency in Las Vegas.

In reality, the insider revealed, "An announcement will be made in the coming weeks." Management has requested a ceremony to publicize her homecoming."

According to many sources, Adele's private Las Vegas gigs will take place later this year, with dates to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

It is unknown if the events would continue to be held at The Colosseum as planned, or whether they will be held across the street at Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater, which might accommodate a larger crowd and allow for an increase in ticket sales of over 2,000 each night.

The "Rolling In The Deep" singer initially apologized to her fans in January after being forced to postpone her Las Vegas residency due to difficulties that meant the performances weren't even ready to go live.

A day before the premiere of "Weekends with Adele," she turned to social media to inform her saddened fans that the residency would not happen as planned.

Adele informed her fans that the concert was not "ready," and that they had done everything possible to get everything together in time and make it "good enough for you," blaming "delivery delays" and "Covid."

The singer said that half of her team and staff had covid, and she claimed that she couldn't express to the public what she truly intended to do for the show.

"I'm gutted, and I apologize for the short notice."

Adele then faced reaction from her fans following the unexpected cancellation of her program, which caused her to be a "shell of a person" for months.

"I really felt everyone's disappointment," she said on BBC Radio 4's "Desert Island Discs."
