Ricky Martin has filled the headlines over the past few days after the news of his alleged relationship with his nephew was revealed.

The alleged "incest" relationship was put into light by his brother, Eric Martin, noting that it was Dennis Sanchez, their nephew, who was behind the anonymous domestic violence restraining order filed against the singer in Puerto Rico earlier this year.

Now, Eric Martin has revealed substantial information about his nephew's alleged medical history and relationship with their family.

Ricky Martin Incest Relationship With Nephew Allegations

Earlier this month, Ricky Martin was hit with an anonymous Domestic Violence restraining order in Puerto Rico.

At the time, Complex reported that the accuser's identity had not yet been confirmed, but sources close to the scene say it's not his husband, Jwan Yosef, who filed it.

Earlier this week, Marca revealed that the person behind the shocking restraining order was his own nephew - Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, thanks to the singer's brother, Eric Martin, who confirmed it.

Based on Puerto Rican laws, should Ricky Martin be proven guilty, he could face 50 years in prison for the alleged domestic violence and incest charges.

The Latino popstar categorically denied the allegations thrown at him, noting that he will only "respond through the judicial process" with the facts and the dignity that characterizes him.

Ricky Martin Nephew Suffering From Mental Illness, Estranged From Family?

Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, Ricky Martin's nephew and accuser, was the son of his step-sister, which makes them not related by blood. But despite this, with the massive allegations, the "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer can still face jail time.

According to Sanchez's spokesperson, Ricky Martin exercised physical and psychological attacks on him in the relationship they had for seven months. (via Marca)

Sanchez wanted to split, but Martin refused and continued to harass him continuously.

Now, Ricky Martin's brother, Eric Martin, went to Facebook Live recently to debunk Sanchez's huge claims - saying that the latter is currently estranged from the family.

More so, Eric confirmed that Sanchez has a history of diagnosed mental illness; thus, the family doubts his claims.

On the other hand, Fox3Now looked deeper into Sanchez's past and found out that he had several run-ins, including a restraining order filed by a female colleague after repeated verbal attempts to kill her.

Ricky Martin is scheduled to appear in Puerto Rican court this Thursday, July 21, to face the allegations.
