Sofie Dossi became the darling of America's Got Talent following her impressive contortionist act that earned her the Golden Buzzer.

The 21-year-old launched her YouTube and TikTok accounts soon after, which earned her a solid following.

The self-taught contortionist is now trying her hand at a new field-music. In an interview with People Magazine, Dossi revealed that her debut single is about a boy who broke her heart.

"I'm pretty sure he knows the song is about him," she told People Magazine, adding that the boy in question was present when she played it for a group of friends. "His face went a little white when he first heard it. He avoided me the rest of the night."

Not So Cuddly Now

While the title of the song is quite sweet and cuddly, the music video is anything but. It starts with Dossi cutting up stuffed toys and an ominous-looking cork board with scratched-out pictures and Post-It notes.

"A heartbreak can feel like the most devastating thing in the world, especially when you're so young," she told TheThings, and added that the song was written to help herself and others cope through difficult times like a breakup.

"Know that things will improve and, better yet, you'll eventually be glad that it happened because the experience helped you grow, learn about yourself, and be happier."

Dossi revealed the meaning behind the chorus of the song, "I hope you die, Bunny / I, I won't cry Bunny / Why did you run from me."

"Part of me was like, I love this person, but he hurt me so bad that I didn't want to actually kill him, but I wanted to kill him in my mind. I didn't want him to exist in my mind anymore."

A Power Duo

According to Dossi, she has always been interested in music. She and her older brother Zak Dossi grew up listening to classical music. That's why it is no surprise that they are now both in the music industry.

The siblings worked in tandem for "Bunny," with the older Dossi helping with the production, and the younger with the songwriting and directing for the music video.

"My brother is an awesome producer and songwriter and has so much going on in his own music career," she said.

Zak Dossi has been releasing remixes of songs via his YouTube channel, and he released his first song "Welcome To My Life" in 2021.

He also showed his support for his sister by promoting the single on his social media with the caption "'Bunny' out now on YouTube!! Produced & wrote this song with my amazing sister, directed the music video, and it is my most proud work ever. Everyone who helped bring this video to life I love and appreciate."
