Cardi B is over the moon as one of her idols, Beyoncé, has sent her a gift for her endless support on her latest summer album "Renaissance." Instead of celebrating the two artists' friendship, many users deemed the interaction "not special"; what happened?

Taking to her official Twitter account, the "Rumors" rapper shared a video of herself holding the gift she received from Queen Bey, an alternative cover vinyl copy of "Renaissance" with a personalized message written on it signed by Beyoncé herself.

"To Cardi B, Hardworking, Beautiful and talented Queen, thank you for always supporting me. Sending so much love to you and yours. Respect," the letter reads. (via Uproxx)

The "WAP" hitmaker appeared to be excited about receiving the merchandise as she told her fans that they should look at what the singer sent her.

She added that the vinyl copy was "so beautiful and lovely" that she's going to secure it in a glass frame with laser beams so that no one could steal it.

In the end, Cardi B expressed her gratitude to the "Alien Superstar" signer, saying she felt so special.

The video concluded with the rapper singing a line from the song "Plastic Off The Sofa."

The rapper went viral a few months ago after she was featured in Beyoncé's TikTok compilation of her song "Break My Soul" where Cardi B can be seen belting out her vocals over the hit single.

The two never collaborated in the past but they almost teamed up in a song in 2017, but it was never released because the track leaked online.

Some Fans Are 'Salty' Over Beyoncé's Gift to Cardi B

After the video made rounds online, many fans immediately bombarded the reply section to express their happiness over Cardi B's gift.

"Yes the love is real when someone special gives you something you cherish and protect it the utmost respect! We love it and here for it," one wrote.

However, not all comments were positive as some users noted that Cardi B isn't "special" because other artists like Megan Thee Stallion got a gift as well.

"Someone's a little salty," one fan defended the rapper.

Nicki Minaj's fans also chimed in the conversation, insisting that the "Super Freaky Girl" hitmaker was once labeled as "rap queen" by Beyoncé herself.
