Fans have suspected Cardi B and Ice Spice are feuding, but the two recently attempted to quiet those rumors by sharing photos of the two togehter.

The alleged issue between the two rappers began in June 2023 when Cardi B performed at Hot 97 Summer Jam. During her set, attendees immediately noticed the graphics behind her, which many claimed were aimed at Ice Spice.

During her performance of the song "Tomorrow 2," a clip from Annie popped out with an illustrated version of the orphan with red hair appearing on the LED screen.

In online posts, many assumed that the animated character was Ice Spice, as it heavily resembled the rapper, known for her iconic red afro.

Cardi B Calls Out a Fan

Fast forward to 2024, when Cardi B called out a user for sharing a TikTok video. In her caption, the "Bongos" rapper said when she amassed fame, people continued calling her "ghetto" and made fun of her accent.

Cardi said people still share negative comments about her life and misinterpret her despite what she accomplished.

The user who posted the clip shared Cardi's post, asking why she's getting so mad about the comparison, clarifying, "You've HAD MAJOR CAMPAIGNS that ghetto black women and men like me will never get it's deeper conversation I'm not trying to offend you at all to not think you have it easier to be seen as marketable because your lighter is crazy."

Cardi continued to have a public spat with the user, claiming it was not what he had initially said. In a separate post, she noted that the user felt comfortable calling her "a Mexican" when, in fact, she's Dominican.

"You do it to me because you know that's what people use to hurt me... same way as you use my name in that video knowing exactly what you doing," she added.

Cardi B, Ice Spice Stick Together

Ice Spice then joined the conversation, saying she didn't mean to offend any Cardi B fans, but she also has a Dominican parent and a Black one.

Cardi B responded by sharing that there might be confusion about what she said, saying the reason why she's uncomfortable being labeled as Mexican was because she has no Mexican parents, adding that her mom is from Trinidad and Tobago while her dad is Dominican.

Squashing their beef and alleged feud, the rapper asked Ice Spice to post their picture from the Vanity Fair Oscars Afterparty, which the "Boys a Liar Pt. 2" rapper posted.
