With him, there was never a dull moment, she added. Mimi also revealed with the rapper some of her most cherished qualities and memories.Coolio was eccentric and a raconteur. He valued living. He enjoyed his family, his work, and making others smile," she said.

She added that their relationship certainly had its ups and downs, just like any other out there. Those claiming to have no downs just ups are purely lying. Mimi recalled a day when she and Coolio almost got married but opted against filing the necessary paperwork.

Mimi said her daughter requested him to be her father, they discussed it, and he opted to accept the responsibility. In fact Coolio fully embraced his role. Coolio was with Mimi from 2012 until his death on September 28, at age 59, on September 28.

The girlfriend revealed how all air seemed to left her body when it she learned of his untimely passing.

The world of rap was quite shocked when Coolio passed so suddenly. Vanilla Ice was profoundly startled and heartbroken by Coolio's passing on September 28.
