Liam Gallagher's past relationship with Oasis members did not stop him from singing his songs with the band.
Mexico welcomed Gallagher days before his November 19 show at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Concertgoers received the best setlist from him as he performed 10 Oasis songs out of the total 16 songs, including "Stand By Me," "Roll It Over," Morning Glory," and "Wonderwall," among others.
While some fans expressed how excited they felt upon hearing him sing, others said they were left dismayed by his choice to sing Oasis songs at his solo concert.
Gallagher, on the other hand, shared a series of vulgar tweets to call out those who slammed him over his setlist choice.
"People bang on about me playing to many Oasis tunes can kiss my a** seeing those kids faces when I drop them tunes is biblical Oasis will never die LG x," he said, adding, "Anyone who got a problem with me singing Oasis tunes ain't real Oasis fans there just massive C****."
He also shared the words "Oasis till I die" after the first two rants.
Oasis split in 2009 after the members argued over the cancellation of its Chelmsford's V Festival on Aug. 23, 2009. At that time, Gallagher's brother, Noel Gallagher, said the musician canceled it because he was "hungover."
But Gallagher dismissed the claims and urged his brother to apologize to him as he was not drunk at all. Instead, he was reportedly suffering from laryngitis which was diagnosed by a doctor.

Oasis' journey started in 1991 when the Gallagher brothers, alongside Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll, formed the band in Manchester. His brother Noel became its fifth member after its first gig in August of that year.
The bandmates enjoyed fame not until they released their lowest-selling album in 2000. The brothers also infamously caused the biggest fight between the members when they drank one evening.

It resulted in Noel quitting Oasis, but he returned for the band's scheduled concerts in UK and Ireland.
Two years later, Alan White, who replaced Tony McCarroll, was arrested alongside Liam Gallagher after their brawl in Munich.
In the years thereafter, the band disbanded in 2009 following Noel's exit. Upon its disbandment, Oasis sold over 70 million records worldwide.
