A reunion between Oasis's former members will not happen anymore, as Liam Gallagher told his former bandmate, Andy Bell, that they shouldn't get their fans' hopes up about a potential comeback.

Bell recently sat down for an interview with Virgin Radio, where he opened up about the possibility of the group getting back together for a show. His answer might give fans a ray of light about a potential reunion.

"Yeah, they probably will. I think yeah, they probably will do it. I don't think it looks likely right now, but life is long, isn't it?" he said.

Liam Gallagher Tells Andy Bell to Not Get People's Hopes Up

In response to Bell's recent interview, Liam Gallagher took to his X account, formerly known as Twitter, to share his sentiments, and it appears that a reunion won't likely happen anytime soon.

"Andy bell from ride the shoe gazing phenomenon should really not be getting people's hopes up it's not big and and it's not clever LG x," he wrote.

One fan took to the reply section to tell the singer that Bell only said what he had been saying for "a million times."

However, the musician was quick to debunk the claims, adding, "I've never mentioned Oasis reunion; it's over. We must all really move in for our own mental health."

Liam Gallagher Updates

Liam Gallagher will tour later this year with another Gallagher. Fans expected him to enlist his brother Noel, but he opted to tag along with his son Gene's band as a supporting act.

According to People magazine, the musician will tour different cities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the famed Oasis album Definitely Maybe.

"I'm bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe Tour. The most important album of the '90s bar none. I wouldn't be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let's celebrate together LG x," he said in an announcement.

The singer will kick off his shows at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, United Kingdom, on June 1, 2024, before visiting cities such as Cardiff, London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Dublin.

His last concert for this run of shows will be at the Co-op Live in Manchester on June 27, 2024.

Fans should expect the singer to play all the songs from Definitely Maybe, including the B-sides from the record. (via Rolling Stone)
