After months of teasing and almost two years of just releasing singles, Chloe Bailey is finally dropping her highly-anticipated debut album; when is it coming out?

Taking to her official Instagram account, the 1/2 of Chloe x Halle shared a short video teaser of herself wearing a red latex dress while posing as a vintage weighing scale with a heart on the left and a sphere on the other.

The melodic background song doesn't sound familiar to fans as it could possibly be one of the tracks from the new album. The musician sings, "Wear my heart on my sleeve / They all say I'm naive / But it's better than nothing."

In the caption, Chloe confirmed that the record, titled "In Pieces," will come out this March 2023, but the exact release date hasn't been revealed yet. More details about the upcoming album are also not available.

In a previous interview, the 24-year-old songstress revealed that her project revolves around everything that she's been going through, especially the negative things in life like people trying to tear her down, the public underestimating her talent, and more.

"The album is me picking myself up and talking myself out of any little place or space that the world has tried to put me in, that people and personal relationships have tried to put me in, and even [doing that to] myself. It's me breaking free," she told Billboard.

Elsewhere in the interview, the musician noted that the public might perceive her as someone who is confident, but she feels the exact opposite and it was the main reason why she puts her personal experiences into her music.

Chloe has been teasing her fans for months as she previously spoke to Pop Sugar, saying she's been perfecting her own craft and listeners should expect a different sound from her music back when she was in Chloe x Halle.

Describing her new record, the singer said it's "wayyy too hot to handle."

It appears that the album would be worth the wait for fans as she has been working on it since 2019 and she began writing songs as early as the "Ungodly Hour" era with her sister.

At the time, the "For The Night" songstress said she was working in her bedroom at night to create beats, songs, and ideas for the project in between promoting their last album when she was in a duo.
