As much as many fans wanted to rejoice ahead of Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour because the pop star is making a comeback on stage after years of hiatus, some of them are worried about how the tickets would be distributed following the disastrous Ticketmaster fiasco that happened in the wake of Taylor Swift's "Eras" tour.

More recently, the US government gets involved after they warned the ticket-distributing company amid the musician's ticket roll-out.

According to Billboard, the Senate Judiciary Committee took to their official Twitter account to quote-retweet a video posted by "CNN This Morning," with the caption "We're watching @Ticketmaster."

In the clip, Axios Media reporter, Sara Fischer, spoke to the reporters about a potential meltdown of the company as the many are anticipating a high number of people trying to gain access to Beyoncé's tour tickets.

A few hours after the tweet made rounds online, NPR reported that fans in the United Kingdom has already experienced several issues regarding the initial ticket roll-out and many of them are afraid that they may not have a chance to get passes to the highly-anticipated concert.

The outlet spoke to some fans who are attempting to buy tickets, claiming that some seats are being sold for a staggering $2,400. The website also went down for a short period and became inaccessible for many fans until "all of the tickets were gone."

The recent news comes a week after the company's president and CFO, Joe Berchtold, appeared before the government branch to defend Ticketmaster following the Taylor Swift ticketing fiasco. There were also witnesses wanting the government to take action to stop what they think is a "monopoly."

Beyoncé Adds More Dates For Renaissance Tour But Not All Fans Will Have a Chance to Get Tickets

Although there were fans who expressed their happiness after Beyoncé announced that the highly-anticipated tour will have more dates in selected cities across the United States, there were still fear in some of them as Live Nation noted that not everyone could get tickets.

At first, the pop star only had single shows in some cities in the US, but she finally added second dates in cities like Toronto on July 9, Chicago on July 23, Washington DC on August 6, Atlanta on August 12, and many more.

Live Nation issued a press release, saying that even though there are new tour dates, "it is still expected that the majority of interested fans will not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply."
