After moving to the United States, Lily Allen was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). While she said she was not surprised. the journey so far has not been easy either.

In a recent interview with The Times, the Not Fair singer disclosed that she was recently diagnosed by a medical professional with the disorder characterized by excessive inattention and impulsivity. She explained that the trait seems to abound in her family. She also said that she finally had a diagnosis only because she is in America, where these things are taken marginally more seriously than in England.

Lily Allen, a native of London, has resided in the United States with her spouse David Harbour since 2020. While she was not surprised by her diagnosis, the 37-year-old reported that it affected her social media usage, stating that as soon as she look at it, hours of her day would disappear.

Lily also discussed her sobriety during an appearance on ITV's This Morning earlier this week. She described it as strange.

She shared that so much has changed in my life ever since she stopped drinking.

She has been sober for four years and has a new husband, and they are now sorting out their lives in America.

After being observed together for the first time in October 2019 and confirming their relationship on social media later that month, the couple wed in Las Vegas less than a year later. During a recent appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, Allen discussed her relationship with Harbour and disclosed that they met on the exclusive dating app Raya, where membership is by invitation only.

She said it was her first experience using this dating app and at the time, she did not even know who David was. She assumed he resembled a hunky police officer from a reality television show because he was wearing a uniform. It was a still from the television series "Stranger Things," a popular show that she never watched.

Allen stated that their attraction was "pretty instant." Harbour, who will reprise his role as Jim Hopper for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, has previously discussed his marriage to Allen, stating that he had "never met someone so profoundly kind" as Allen.
