The musician Lo has been identified as a victim of gun violence following a weekend shooting at a prominent Miami nightclub.

RadarOnline.com has learned that Lo, also known as Lowell Grissom Jr., was killed and two women were injured in the gunfire that occurred early Sunday morning in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami. He was a rapper and talent evaluator for Chris Brown's company, Chris Brown Entertainment.

According to law enforcement, police responded to the nightclub around 4:00 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. When detectives arrived on the scene, they discovered three victims with gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to the Ryder Trauma Center, where Lo tragically perished. It was anticipated that the two unidentified women would recuperate from their injuries.

A local man who was working nearby when gunfire erupted recalled hearing the first rounds. The club's security personnel fled to the street, the insider said.

The women fled the club in tears and were visibly shaken, a male who wished to remain anonymous said.

In relation to the fatal shooting, no suspects were identified nor were any arrests made despite hours of police foot patrols. The identities of the victims had not been released as of Sunday evening, but Lo's friends and family confirmed that he died from his injuries.

Brown memorialized Lo on his Instagram story. The rapper posted an image of Lo with the caption "love you buddy. Rest up BROTHER."

They also offered their condolences to the victim's family and associates at this time. They also shared that they are entirely committed to assisting and cooperating with the Miami Beach Police Department as they continue their investigation.
