Twitter was in a joyous mood yesterday when it was announced that Taylor Swift and Matty Healy were revealed to have broken up after a month of dating.
However, new sources revealed that the two weren't even that "exclusive" as the public and Swifties have presumed all this time.
Taylor Swift, Matty Healy Broke Up After A Month of Dating
TMZ first broke the report on Monday, Jun. 5, 2023, saying the multi-platinum artist is "single" again as they have broken up.
As for other sources, the real reason why the two never made it past the one-month mark was that they were both "extremely busy and realized they're not really compatible with each other," Entertainment Tonight reports.
Friends close to Swift also told the insider that they weren't actually shocked that the relationship ended so soon, as she had just got off a long-term relationship with actor, Joe Alwyn. Some assumed that Matty Healy was just a rebound.
Swift has been slammed online by many for dating Healy, whose recent pronouncements became a subject of criticism online for his history of Islamophobia, antisemitism, and even racial discrimination.

Taylor Swift Never Had An 'Exclusive' Relationship With Matty Healy?
According to a People Magazine source, Taylor Swift had never considered Matty Healy to be a serious one.
"She had fun with him, but it was always casual," a source close to Swift has revealed to the publication. "They were never boyfriend-girlfriend or exclusive and were always just having fun."
Good thing that the insider revealed that there is "no drama" and even noted that it "could happen again," but nevertheless, it "was a good time," and it "ran its course."
Since The Sun reported that Swift and Healy started dating on early May 2023, shortly after breaking up with Joe Alwyn, the internet never caught a break.
Almost every other day, photos of Swift and Healy came about on social media, one where they were holding hands, and some reported that the two even shared their kiss.
As of this writing, Taylor Swift is still on the road for her "The Eras" tour. She finished a three-day weekend run at the Chicago Field. Healy, on the other hand, was recently in Denmark, where he made out with a security guard mid-performance.
