Quincy Jones' Health Issues, Recent Hospitalization

Quincy Jones recently sparked concerns after a news outlet confirmed he was rushed to a medical facility after a serious medical emergency.

According to reports, he suffered a bad reaction to the food he recently ate; thus, it led him to contact 911 for help. Responders immediately responded to his call and rushed to his Los Angeles home Saturday before transporting him to a nearby emergency room.

Jones' representative clarified that he never lost consciousness during the incident and was in great spirits following his discharge, Los Angeles Times reported.

Before his recent health scares Jones also suffered a number of health issues over the years, including undergoing two operations that left him with six steel pins in his head when he had a life-threatening brain aneurysm in 1974.

Jones was also hospitalized in 2015 after experiencing chest pains and shortness of breath while at his home in Bel Air. At that time, his representative said the music legend was fine, although he was admitted for observation in a hospital.
