Canadian rapper Drake lives an exciting life, to say the least, so keeping up with him is always fascinating. Recently, he revealed his winnings following the Denver Nuggets' Game 5 title-winning victory. Dubbed "Champagne Papi" on his Instagram, the rapper revealed on his Instagram Story that he had $242,584 in Bitcoin on the Nuggets winning the Larry O'Brien Trophy. With the Nuggets' win against the Miami Heat, Drake's payout totaled a whopping $824,785.

Of course, the hip-hop artist is worth millions, but winnings like that are still worthy of celebration. In fact, Drake's net worth helped him score massive bling from fellow rapper Pharrell's auction. Launched in October 2022, Pharrell's auction saw the N.E.R.D. star sell 52 of his old items including jewelry, clothes, and other collectibles. The auction was held on Pharrell's online auction house called JOOPITER and is slated as the first of many. This first auction, "Son of a Pharoah," describes Pharrell's belongings as cultural artifacts that transcend genders, genres, and niches. Drake is among many known Hollywood names who were able to purchase Pharrell's prized belongings, contributing to a massive $5.25 million in sales.

Drake's Jumbotron Shit Poppin video

Some of Drake's auction finds were actually shown in his music video for Jumbotron Shit Poppin from his album Her Loss. Released back in January, Drake was able to flex his Pharrell-blessed bling, including a brain pendant chain that sold for $150,000, a dual skateboard pendant worth $103,000, and a pair of Oakley Razor Blades he had acquired for $62,500. Oakley sunglasses are performance shades that feature the latest technologies. Given how these lightweight frames can enhance any look, it's no wonder Drake got himself the pair from Pharrell. While known for sporty and stylish eyewear, this set of Oakleys is all bling. Pharrell's Razor Blade - released in '86 - was given a premium upgrade using 2,353 pave white diamonds set across the temples and bridge encased in 18-karat yellow gold. The Razor Blade has been phased out today, but you can opt for the brand's EVZeroTM Blades for a similar build and look, minus the ice.

In addition to the rare Oakleys, Drake was also able to score a custom console from Pharrell's collection. A fully gold-coated Sony PSP, the now-retro console was also shown briefly in the music video as Drake waves it around along with his auction-won pendants. The custom PSP-1000 weighs 659.7 grams - nearly three times the original - thanks to all that 14-karat gold. The bling upgrade was personally commissioned by Pharrell in 2008 to complement his gold BlackBerry - also auctioned. Other notable items that Drake flexed include the N.E.R.D. pendant (sold for over $2 million) - one of Pharrell's most iconic custom pieces from Jacob and Co, along with another N.E.R.D. pendant with the iconic brain logo on a 14-karat yellow gold chain. The Canadian rapper wore and showed $2,669,625 worth of jewelry, not including an expensive red Ferrari parked in the driveway.

Drake's secret relationship

Aside from all the newly acquired legacy bling, Drake also recently hard launched a romantic relationship on Instagram. In our previous post on the update, we highlighted the rapper's past of being linked with some of the music industry's biggest and most beautiful stars like Rihanna. Similarly, Lilah Pi, Drake's new rumored "gyal" is a singer from England. She released a debut EP in November 2021 but has yet to release new material. However, this wasn't Pi's debut on the rapper's Instagram page, as Drake had posted a picture of himself with a then-unidentified Pi wearing helmets back when he was promoting Search & Rescue. Drake also previously rapped about Pi in his song Who Told You, giving her name a shoutout. The romance rumors are yet to be officially addressed by either musician, but with all the Bitcoins, bling, and Instagram captions, Drake's future is looking bright.
