Drake has been linked with some of the music industry's biggest and most beautiful stars like Rihanna and several other rumored romances, but this is the first time-in a long time-that he is actually hard launching a relationship.
According to TMZ, the "Certified Lover Boy" hitmaker surprised everyone by greeting a singer on Instagram: "More life to the gyal that's impossible to duplicate."
"My inspo, my confidant, my best mate, my heart, [Lilah Pi]. Happy birthday," he wrote with a teary-eyed smiley and heart emoji.
The birthday greeting was placed alongside a picture of a woman who is obviously the birthday girl, Lilah Pi.
However, following the shocking and eye-brow-raising greeting came a wave of confusion and speculation.
Who is Lilah Pi?
According to reports, Pi is a singer from England. She released her debut EP "Atlantis" back in November 2021, but has not released any new material since.
This is not the first time Pi has graced Drake's Instagram account. Back when the "Jimmy Cooks" rapper was promoting "Search & Rescue," he released a picture of himself along with an unidentified woman wearing helmets.
Many had assumed that the woman in the picture was Kim Kardashian because Drake wanted to goad Kanye West, but apparently, it was Pi.
In fact, perhaps that was already the Canadian native's way of soft launching his relationship.

Hard Launch?
According to Entertainment Tonight, there have been numerous instances when Drake gave a shout-out to Pi not just on his Instagram, but in his music as well.
In his song "Who Told You," Drake rapped about Pi: "Lilah Pi, don't make my eye cry/Let me hold your controller, I'm not one of the controllin' guys I want you to touch road with the girls dem, and socialize/Enjoy your life, your backside is so fit, it opens eyes I know the vibes, I know the vibes."
Despite all the mystery surrounding the singer, there are a few interviews with her regarding her background and herself.
"I always say I'm an enigma," Pi explained in an interview. "I just think that I don't even know who I am yet. Well, on the one hand, I do know who I am, I've always known. I know what I stand for and I know what I love to do.
"On the other hand, I'm out here in the world still discovering everything, growing up, and learning things. I like to use the word enigma because I know who this Lilah girl is but I can't really describe her myself."
As of this writing, Drake and Pi have not addressed the rumored romance.
