Amid his upcoming album's promotion Drake has paid homage to a classic track by Kanye West.

Specifically, the artist is taking time to show appreciation for one of the controversial rapper's songs.

This past Sunday, a video posted to the Toronto rapper's Instagram Stories showed him wearing a sweatshirt adorned with popular dogs that appeared in his advertisement for both his upcoming album, apparently titled "For All Dogs," and his new poetry collection entitled "Titles Ruin Everything."

Appearing to be having a great time, Drake was filmed dancing and singing along to Kanye West's classic "Through the Wire" from the album "The College Dropout," while proudly showing off his watch.

July 5 marked the beginning of Drake and 21 Savage's "It's All a Blur" Tour which kicked off in Chicago, Kanye West's hometown.

In December 2021, after many years of feuding, a one-off reunion between hip-hop icons Kanye West and Drizzy ensued at the "Free Larry Hoover" benefit concert in Los Angeles.

There, the two heavyweights not only shared the stage but seemingly laid their differences to rest.

Despite the difficult situation, Drake still seemingly took a jab at Kanye West through one of his songs earlier this year.

On the April 2023 single "Search & Rescue," Drake sampled an episode from "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" in which Kim Kardashian discussed her divorce to her mother.

According to the lyrics, "I didn't come this far, just to come this far and not be happy/ Okay, that's fair/ Remember that/ You didn't come this far, just to come this far/ Yep, I saw it on the internet."

Drake Poetry Book and Album Release Date

The highly anticipated debut book of poetry from Drake will be released by publishing house Phaidon.

Titled "Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness", this collection was co-authored with Kenza Samir - a long-time collaborator in songwriting.

On July 14, fans of literature will be able to enjoy Drizzy's poetry book, a brand-new collection of verse.

Adverts in newspapers publicizing the book contained a QR code which, when scanned, redirected to a website with the following message: "I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake girl don't tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS."

Although there is no official word on the release date, Drake's latest album may be around the corner. With his "It's All a Blur" Tour with 21 Savage which kicked off on June 29, it only seems sensible for him to have something new in tow.
